Southern Company

 

In 2008, NAFCO completed a limestone-handling system, which provides 24/7 service with a capacity of 3,400 tons per hour, for Southern Company’s Plant Wansley (power plant) in Carrolton, Georgia. The project consisted of a rail unloading system, transfer conveyors, and a radial stacker. NAFCO also provided all mechanical and electrical components for the system, as well as fabrication and erection of all components, which included more than one million pounds of structural steel.
