NAFCO won the 2017 Best of the Best Award in specialty construction from Engineering News-Record for its structural test stands at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, in Hunstville, Alabama.
The two test stands, completed in 2016, facilitate structural testing of the liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen tanks supporting the most powerful rocket in history, the NASA Space Launch System, which will be used on the journey to Mars.
