In 2009, NAFCO contracted to detail, fabricate, and install the structural steel and provide the silo tunnel concrete on this limestone-handling project. There are nine different conveyors, five of which are tubular gallery conveyors, which vary from 9’6” to 10’6’’ in diameter. The length of these tubular gallery conveyors is more than 1,600 feet and their capacity varies with speeds up to 1,400 tons/hour. 

 

This project was completed in 2010 and included more than 2.5 million pounds of fabricated steel.
