In 2011, NAFCO was contracted to detail and fabricate all the required structural steel for a new preparation plant and loadout facility. This included structural steel columns, beams, bracing, bins and plate work, miscellaneous steel, handrails, platforms, and grating, as well as a multi-coat paint system.

 

When completed later that year, this project featured approximately 3 million pounds of structural steel. NAFCO’s Canadian Welders Bureau (CWB) certification was a requirement.
