Frac Sand

The rush to produce frac sand, combined with slumping crude prices, has made it increasingly important for West Texas and Northern White sand mines to operate at maximum efficiency. Wolf Point is a key partner to frac sand mines by engineering and fabricating material handling systems on time and within budget.

Because of the unique synergy between Wolf Point and its parent company, NAFCO, a pair of recent projects—both involving multiple tripper feed conveyors, tripper conveyors with tripper cars, reclaim conveyors dryer support structures, transfer towers and a dry screening building, as well as foundation designs—were each executed in less than six months, from order to delivery.
